Lowest price of all time on Amazon. 1500VA pure sine wave UPS with detachable LCD screen for desktop monitoring and RGB lighting to match your gaming rig. May seem a bit gimmicky, but why not?? Includes USB hookup for free monitoring and shutdown software. I bought one of these a couple years ago and the first one Amazon sent was defective, but the replacement worked great and I've had it since then. Super quiet as well when not running on battery, and Tripp Lite is a reputable brand.

Kinda high price for the base stats. Plus, we need to wait for lithium.

about right for the RGB tax. Corsair has some 120mm single RGB fans that cost $50/ea, heh

but the detachable screen is pretty unique also, you can run power-heavy loads on your PC and check out how it impacts the UPS stats in realtime by having the detachable wireless rechargeable (charges when attached, 12hr runtime) LCD screen on your desktop, no need to run an app on the PC or look under your desk for the power status

also, it is a 1500VA true sine wave UPS with usb software control - for a good name brand like APC or Tripp Lite this is what you are going to pay for one anyway with those specs. Might be able to get Cyberpower cheaper with those specs but they have been junk in my experience.

I'm a longtime UPS battery user and have recently started testing an Ecoflow River 2 Lipo4 generator as a UPS. I was unsure if the 30 ms cutover would actually work and it has worked with no issues. I have a smart plug which I time to go off every day at 4PM and turn back on at 9PM (basically when my electricity is more expensive) and I have not had a problem. You use the App to set settings like AC Always On which is really helpful.

The difference in runtime is significant. I used to be able to run for 10 or 15 minutes on a 1500VA Cyberpower unit and now I can run for an hour and 30 minutes. And it was a lot cheaper (only 115 on a slickdeal).

In any case - this is something I never knew would actually work as a UPS and the EcoFlow App with the AC Always on option significantly helps with this. Otherwise you would have to manually turn the AC on. One thing though - after the battery runs to 0 it does need to charge for a few minutes before the AC always on kicks in and turns the AC back on. But at least I know in an extended power failure once power is restored the ECoflow unit will eventually turn the AC back on on the unit.

What confuses me is why UPS manufacturers don't release products more like the Ecoflow batteries and similar options. I'd want a UPS that can get me through an outage, not just keep my computer up long enough to shutdown. Even better if I can hook it to alternative energy sources like solar or an outside generator to keep it going.

This has a lower user rating than the cheaper Cyberpower units.

What's the load on your PC? I would guess 1000W draw would not like a 30ms of no juice
